here's a little about me: my name is erin, and i live in bettendorf, ia. i've lived here about 29 out of 31 years. yes, i am almost 32. i work for mid-sized copier and technology company in davenport, ia. i'm a marketing sales coordinator who's underpaid, but loves her job! i won't bore you with my job responsibilities, but the work i do is diverse and contains everything from flyer creation to database design. again, let's remember that i'm underpaid.

i've never been into cars, but owning a new beetle has changed all that. in all fairness though, i'm not really into cars per se, just beetles. in fact, i have no love for VW at all. i find most of their cars to be uninspiring and boring. like i said, i owned a saturn for 12 years and though i had a bit of saturn pride now and again, it sure wasn't from the car itself. simply put, my car has changed how i drive and how i feel about driving. simply put, i'm obsessed.

politically, i'm left-leaning, though i don't consider myself a political person. i'm atheist but respect anyone's choice of religion or lack thereof. i have a boyfriend of 4+ years that i love to pieces. i love spending time with family and friends. i have four pet birds, a cockatiel named mateo and a three parakeets named oliver, mina and chirpa. cats and dogs make me sneeze, so that's why i am really into birds. i tried rats for awhile and loved them, but they made me sneeze too.

in my spare time, i like to surf the internet until it hurts, buy crap online i don't need and watch tv. and drink coffee. i used to really like smoking, but i quit in june of 2004 after smoking almost 15 years. i do miss it from time to time, but hope to never go back.
